I'm going back to part-time on my internship, and need to be able to work on my projects at home. I needed to use a Cisco VPN client to connect, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be one available for Vista 64 bit. Guess what I upgraded to at home...
To make a long (looong) story short, I decided to try connecting from a virtual linux machine on my Vista computer, through a third party Cisco VPN adaptation for linux, and then the very nice built-in remote desktop viewer in Ubuntu. After hours and hours of googling, patching, and sudo installing, it is finally working! In case you are looking for the same thing, here are some of the links I found helpful:
Hope it helps you!
