To the nice Shaw support person who stayed on the phone for nearly an hour with me as we tried to sort out the issues with Windows Vista and my internet connection,
Thanks for being so patient and especially for that little mention of Norton at the end. Although you weren't able to help directly, I did get a removal tool which fixed my problem altogether. Moral of the story: Norton is super invasive, hard to get rid of, and bad for your internet connection health, but sometimes calling tech support is worth it. Also, one should get someone's personal ID/full name so they can be recommended to their supervisors for good work. (Sorry I didn't)
Thanks again,
Kate (Kathleen)
